Beyond the Image

Beyond the Image Photographer's Gallery is a unique exhibition space in the heart of Suffolk. Established in 2005, the gallery is a not-for-profit organisation run by a group of volunteer photographers who exhibit their own work through quarterly themed exhibitions. 

The gallery space allows the group to give something back to the community in the form of three exhibition spaces suitable for showing artwork of all types. 

We do not limit ourselves to just photography, we exhibit work from guest artists working in any media. 

Photographers who have exhibited with us include Lee Acaster, overall winner of British Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2014, and Gillian Allard, winner of Sky Arts Photographer of the year 2017, Photographers with visual impairments in association with EffstopEyes, and many more.
