Easter Nest Basket Making
Saturday 21st March: 10:30-13:30
Welcome the arrival of spring by making a simple, free-form nest basket using natural materials gathered at Thornham. Made from wild willow and other hedge-gathered twigs, these baskets are a great introduction to weaving projects. The session will begin with a walk to collect materials, followed by guided instruction on hooping, weaving, and how to finish off your creation with a willow rod handle. Great for presenting Easter eggs, these baskets are ideal to give as a gift or to keep for yourself!

All materials and equipment included, along with a hot drink from the Forge cafe.

Tickets: £20 per person. Recommended for ages 8+.

Thornham Walks Parkrun
Every Saturday at 9am.​

Weekly, timed 5k parkruns for all ages and abilities.​
​
£2 Parkrun car parking ticket, which is valid between 08:45 and 10:30, is required. If vehicles stay beyond this time, they must purchase a full price ticket from the car park machine.​​
